About us

In 2005, Apostle Vince Hinton was led to begin sharing his knowledge of the Word of God in a weekly Bible Study, which helped many believers and non-believers alike develop a deeper relationship with God.

In April 2006, while Vince was praying for God to reveal what His will was and for what he should do next,
several scriptures came to him:

Matthew 16:18: "... upon this rock I will build my church and the  gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

John 3:5: Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee except a man be born of the water and of the spirit he cannot see the Kingdom of God."

Revelations 12:10: "And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, Now is come salvation, strength and the Kingdom of our God and the Power of His Christ."

Through these scriptures God revealed to Apostle Hinton that he was being called to plant Kingdom Builders Church (KBC). In July of 2007, KBC was officially launched in the North Austin community. By October 2007, KBC began holding Sunday services at the Northwest Austin Council Building at 5730 W. Division. In November 2008, KBC began holding all of its services (Sunday Worship and Wednesday Bible Study) at 1500 N. Mason. In May 2010, services were held at 1301 N. Mayfield. In 2013, God blessed us with 5835 W. North Avenue where we are currently holding services.

KBC is a difference making teaching ministry with a determination to see people enjoy a fulfilling relationship with God and others. We believe that the whole Bible is the unmatchable, unchangeable word of God and we use it as our rule and our guide. We believe studying God's word gives God a unique opportunity to reveal to us His specific plan for our lives.
